Every story in three beats.

Each card is written to a strict shape so you always get the same thing: what happened, the number that matters, and what it means next.

    The Spark

The biggest thing that happened, in one sentence.

  • 02

    The Weight

The most important data point or figure, stated plainly.

  • 03

    The Pivot

What it means going forward, so you know why it matters.

    Read the original

Every card is attributed to its source and opens the full article in one tap.

Answers to the common questions. If yours is not here, email us and we will help.

Is Scint free?
Yes. Reading every category is free, with no subscription and no paywall.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Open the app and start reading.
Where do the stories come from?
Scint surfaces current news from publishers worldwide and summarises each story in three sentences. Every card names its source and links to the original article.
What is stored on my device?
Your saved articles, a local cache so the app opens fast, and a preference score based on the categories you read. All of it stays on your phone and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Why do photos take a moment to load?
Publisher images load directly from the publisher's own server. Scint never hosts or re-shares them. If an image is unavailable, the card falls back to category artwork.
Is Scint a publisher?
No. Scint is a reader that links out. Headlines, summaries and images belong to their respective publishers and are attributed on every card.
